Etching community Osterath is the name of a group of artists founded in 1964 by Holger Runge together with the artists Joseph Beuys , Rolf Crummenauer , Hans van der Grinten , Franz Joseph van der Grinten , Martel Wiegand , Gottfried Wiegand , Erwin Heerich , André Thomkins and Franz Eggenschwiler was founded in Osterath on the Lower Rhine.

The artists named met at regular intervals in Holger Runge's studio in Meerbusch-Osterath and worked there together on their etchings .
