Radio StHörfunk has been broadcasting as a radio station in Schwäbisch Hall and Crailsheim since 1995 . Like the other non-commercial radio stations in Baden-Württemberg, the station sees itself in the Association of Free Social Radio (AFF) as Free Radio and is a member of the Federal Association of Free Radios .
founding
On March 29, 1995, the Friends of Free Radio Schwäbisch Hall , which was founded on August 19, 1993, received the license for the VHF frequency 97.5 MHz in the city of Schwäbisch Hall from the State Office for Communication Baden-Württemberg . In 2004 the station received the additional frequency of 104.8 MHz in Crailsheim for parallel broadcast. There has been a stream on the Internet since April 2006 .
Studios
In the old slaughterhouse at Haalstrasse 9 in Schwäbisch Hall there are two broadcast studios and a preproduction room. The local studio is located in the youth center in Crailsheim and is used exclusively for pre-productions.
Program schedule
At the beginning of the quarter, the shipment overview appears in a printed edition of 1,500 items. A PDF is available online.
financing
Radio StHörfunk is mainly financed through grants, membership fees and donations. The producers of the programs are volunteers.
Sending scheme
A full program with 24-hour broadcasting is offered. The entire program is ad-free and is not interrupted by traffic reports. Messages are available from Monday to Friday at 12:00 p.m. These are taken over by Deutschlandfunk Kultur . The program day is roughly divided into three time blocks.
