Radu Grigorovici (born November 20, 1911 in Chernivtsi , Bucovina ; † August 2, 2008 in Bucharest , Romania ) was a Romanian physicist and former deputy chairman of the Romanian Academy .

Grigorovici, born in the former capital of the Austro-Hungarian -Provinz Bukovina , was the son of Gheorghe Grigorovici and the Austro-Marxist theorist Tatiana Grigorovici (born Pistermann). He studied physics and chemistry and received his doctorate in 1938. He is counted among the founders of modern Romanian physics.
