Raffaele Maiello (director)
Raffaele Maiello (born April 9, 1934 in Florence , † April 19, 2013 in Rome ) was an Italian television director .
Life
After attending the “Scuola d'Arte di Piccolo di Milano” Maiello worked for about a decade as an assistant to Giorgio Strehler and made his debut as a theater director in 1962; important productions were partly contemporary pieces by Arnold Wesker , Roberto Roversi and Peter Weiss . Maiello was responsible for television formats such as TV7 , Boomerang or Sotto processo as well as the television film Il burattinaio . In 1975 he returned to the theater (with Bertolt Brecht's husband is husband ). In the same year he presented his only feature film, Non si scrive sui muri a Milano .
