In 2000 a new edition was published by Amigo in Germany .

General

cards

The game contains 112 cards:

96 color cards (number cards)

  • 16 cards each (values 0-15 )
  • in the colors red, blue, green, yellow, orange and purple

as well as 16 action cards

  • 2 "Joker" (only shows the six colors)
  • 4 "No trump" (shows the six colors and a prohibition sign)
  • 4 "trump change" (shows the six colors and a call sign)
  • 3 "Rage revenge" (shows five minus points)
  • 3 "Rage Bonus" (shows five plus points)

In the version originally distributed in Germany in 1985 by the manufacturer Amigo, the game only contained 12 special cards (2 “Joker”, 3 “No Trump”, 3 “Trump Change”, 2 “Rage Revenge”, 2 “Rage Bonus”). In addition, however, the game contained 4 blank cards (replacement cards).

Talon

The talon is the pile of cards in the center of the table, face down. It is used to determine the trump suit.

Filing

Deck of cards next to the talon, face up.

Trump suit

The top card of the shelf shows the trump suit.

value

0 is the smallest, 15 is the largest value. The larger value sticks out the smaller. This card value is only decisive for the jump-off. The trump suit with its numbers 0-15 is always higher than the other 5 suits. Within the trump suit, the previous sentence applies.

Sting

The other player whose turn it is plays a card. Then each player discards a card in clockwise order. All cards played in this way are given to a player and are designated as a trick.

round

A round refers to the period of time in the game that extends from the shedding of cards to the point in time when the players have run out of cards and are tricks with the players.

Player (player) and game writer

The player who plays the first card is always the player who played. A player is chosen to be the game writer by lot. He notes all the announcements before each round and all the calculated scores for each player after each round.

Rules of the game

Number of laps and number of cards

A game has 10 rounds. In the first round, each player is dealt 10 cards. With each further round there is one less card until in the last round each player only receives 1 card.

Mix and distribute

The divider of the cards is determined by lot. First the cards are shuffled, then the player to the right of the divider draws and then the cards are dealt individually to the players in a clockwise direction.

Talon and filing system

The cards remaining after they are dealt are discarded as a talon. The top card of the talon is turned over and placed next to the talon as a deposit. If this card is an action card, the process must be repeated until a number card shows the trump suit.

Trick bet and evaluation

  • Each player now bets how many tricks he thinks he can take.
  • “0 tricks” is also a valid announcement.
  • The game writer notes these announcements.
  • If at the end of the round the announced number of stitches is identical to the stitches actually taken, you receive 10 points.
  • If there is no match, you will be penalized with 5 minus points.
  • One point is awarded for each stitch made.

Game process

The first card is played by the player to the left of the divider. Any further lead up to the end of the round is made by the player who took the last trick.

Compulsions to play

Color is compulsory for the entire game. A foreign color, trump or an action card may only be played if you do not have the color played. There is no compulsory stabbing for the entire game. You always have the opportunity to “hide” (duck), provided that the compulsory color is not violated. There is no trump requirement for the entire game. As long as you have other cards besides trumps, you don't have to trump with trumps.

Action cards

General rules for action cards

If a player does not have the color played and is in possession of an action card, he can add it to the trick. If an action card, with the exception of the joker card, is played first, the first number card is decisive for this trick. If several action cards of one type fall together in one trick, only the first one remains valid. If a trick consists exclusively of action cards (without joker), in this case the first action card played, i.e. the player who wins.

Rage revenge

If the "Rage-Revenge" card falls into a trick, the owner of this trick is deducted 5 points at the end.

Rage bonus

If the “Rage Bonus” card falls into a trick, the owner of this trick is credited with 5 points at the end.

No trump

If this card is played, the trump suit card on the shelf is turned over immediately. With this trick, there is no longer any trump. Trump cards already played and still played in this trick no longer have any effect and are to be handled like foreign colors. The trick is taken by the player with the highest color played first. After this trick, another card from the talon is placed on the shelf to indicate the new trump suit. If this card is an action card, the process must be repeated until a number card shows the new trump suit.

Trump change

When this card is played, a card from the talon is immediately placed on the shelf to indicate the new trump suit. If this card is an action card, the process must be repeated until a number card shows the new trump suit. The new trump suit card shows the trump suit for the lying trick and the rest of the game.

joker

Whoever plays a joker card must announce a color that applies to the joker. The chosen suit can also be the current trump suit. The joker is the highest card of the chosen suit in the trick. If the current trump suit is not chosen as the joker suit, then each card in the current trump suit is higher than the joker suit. If both jokers are played in one trick, the second joker is higher than the first.

Billing

Lap scoring

At the end of a round, the game is counted and the score is noted by the game writer. The following is counted for each player and then added up:

  • +1 point for each stitch
  • Trick bet won +10 points
  • Trick bet lost -5 points
  • Rage bonus +5 points
  • Rage Vengeance -5 points

Determination of winners

At the end of all rounds, the player with the most points wins.

Trivia

The gameplay is very similar to a younger card game item Wizard , which is also sold by Amigo. Remarkably, there is also the subtitle "The game that infuriates you!"
