The Raiffeisen Waren GmbH is a trading company for products and services from the agricultural sector. These include seeds , grain , animal feed , cattle trade , fertilizers and pesticides, agricultural technology and also the operation of the Raiffeisen markets . The company also includes non-agricultural business areas such as building materials trading, trading in energy sources such as heating oil , coal , fuels and its own filling stations .

The Raiffeisen Waren GmbH has its headquarters in Kassel represented and is in the federal territory with over 210 branches. Together with all affiliated companies, the company employs a good 2,300 people and in 2014 generated sales of over 1.31 billion euros. Heinz Lemke was the first Raiffeisen director after the Second World War .
