history
Raiffeisenbank Iller-Roth-Günz emerged from seven mergers of local Raiffeisen banks. Initially, in 1972, Raiffeisenbank Bellenberg merged with Raiffeisenbank Tiefenbach to form Raiffeisenbank Bellenberg-Tiefenbach. When the Raiffeisenbank Illerberg-Thal was incorporated in 1989, it traded as Raiffeisenbank Bellenberg-Tiefenbach / Illerberg-Thal, from which the Raiffeisenbank Iller-Roth emerged in 1995 when the Raiffeisenbank Buch-Unterroth was merged. Raiffeisenbank Illereichen-Altenstadt was added in 1997 and Raiffeisenbank Kettershausen in 1998.
In the course of the merger with Raiffeisenbank Babenhausen-Osterberg, the name was changed again in 2001 to Raiffeisenbank Iller-Roth-Günz. This was taken over by Raiffeisenbank Erkheim in 2006. An online branch was opened in August 2014. In September 2017, Raiffeisenbank Iller-Roth-Günz merged with Raiffeisenbank Krumbach / Schwaben to form Raiffeisenbank Schwaben Mitte based in Krumbach / Schwaben. The business area expanded to include large parts of the southern district of Günzburg.
