history

Raiffeisenbank Schrobenhausener Land eG was created from the merger of several smaller banks.

Waidhofen

The "Waidhofener Savings and Loan Association" was founded as early as 1887. The First World War 1914–1918 and the inflation that followed prevented further progress. Even the Rentenmark introduced in 1923 and the Reichsmark that followed in 1924 could not cause a change, as the global economic crisis hit shortly afterwards and interrupted a cautious new beginning again. The year 1933 brought not only the restriction of cooperative initiatives, but also the compulsory integration into the Reichsnährstand of the third Reich. A little later, the bank was renamed "Spar- und Kreditkasse Waidhofen". The Second World War 1939–1945 once again slowed down any progress. The currency reform of June 21, 1948 put an end to the inflation that had been rampant up to then and enabled cooperative growth again. In 1951 the management of the business was occupied full-time and the name was soon changed to "Raiffeisenkasse Waidhofen". In 1956 they merged with the Raiffeisenkasse Mühlried. 1965–1966 the bank building in Hofmarkstr. 13 built in Waidhofen. In 1985, after the building had been redesigned, a staircase was added and in 1998 the office was rebuilt and modernized again due to the increased requirements and increased customer numbers. In 2019/2020, the building was renovated again and the upper floors made usable again as private apartments.

Muhlried

Nothing is known about the exact founding date of the "Raiffeisenkasse Mühlried" at that time. The history of the Raiffeisenbank Schrobenhausener Land eG shows, however, that in 1956 a merger with the Raiffeisenkasse Waidhofen took place. In 1968 the branch in Mühlried was opened, which in addition to the bank premises also includes private apartments and practice rooms. Previously, banking was done in a private home. The bank rooms were rebuilt and modernized in 2005, as well as the service center with insurance service and the real estate department.

Langenmosen

On February 3rd, 1892 the "Langenmosener Loan Association" was founded. Like all banks, this too experienced the same setbacks as the Raiffeisenkasse Waidhofen (see there). Around 1933 it was renamed "Savings and Loan Fund Langenmosen". In 1956 a business building was attached to an existing warehouse. In 1970, an independent bank building was built. In 1982 a new building was built again to meet the increased requirements. In 1992 the merger with Raiffeisenbank Berg im Gau took place. In 1999 the bank building was expanded again. In 2018/2019 the business premises were rebuilt and modernized.

Mountain in the Gau

Raiffeisenbank Berg im Gau was founded in 1888. In 1992 the merger with Raiffeisenbank Langenmosen took place. The new office building was inaugurated in 2014.

Merger of the banks

In 2003 the Raiffeisen banks Waidhofen and Mühlried merged with the Raiffeisenbank Berg in Gau-Langenmosen eG (created from the Raiffeisen banks Berg im Gau and Langenmosen) to form Raiffeisenbank Schrobenhausener Land eG
