Raik Thorstad

Raik Thorstad (born August 12, 1980 in Osnabrück , grew up in Bramsche ) is a German author of homoerotic novels and short stories. He did not lie down on a genre determines its previous publications come from the fields of fantasy , science fiction and contemporary literature , historical novel and historical detective story .

biography

As a teenager, Raik tried to write for the first time. For a long time, music also had an equally important place in Raik's life. That is why he completed an apprenticeship as a music dealer after school and also worked in this profession for several years. During this time Raik wrote a few short stories and wrote record reviews and concert reviews for various music magazines and webzines , but did not have any serious writing plans. However, after he was forced to give up his job in 2007 due to an injury, writing about the freedom that was forcibly created pushed back into his life. This was followed by a few stories and short stories published online before the first novel Life in the Cage was published in 2011 .

Raik Thorstad lives in Emmerich with his husband, two dogs and two cats .
