Raimund Beck

Raimund Beck (born May 19, 1962 in Dingelstädt ) is a German Catholic priest and vicar general in the Diocese of Erfurt .

Life

Beck grew up in Helmsdorf near Dingelstädt. In 1993 he was ordained a priest in Erfurt . He worked as a chaplain in Dingelstädt and from 1997 in Gotha . In 2000 he became pastor in Eisenach and in 2005 dean in the Meiningen dean's office . In 2010 he was appointed vicar general of the diocese of Erfurt by Bishop Joachim Wanke to succeed Georg Jelich. The new Bishop of Erfurt, Ulrich Neymeyr , confirmed Raimund Beck in November 2014 in his office as Vicar General.
