Raimundas Malašauskas

Raimundas Malašauskas (* 1973 in Vilnius ) is a Lithuanian curator and author .

life and work

From 1995 to 2006 he worked at Contemporary Art Center in Vilnius.

From 2007 to 2008 he was a guest curator at the California College of the Arts in San Francisco and then as a curator of the Artists Space in New York. In 2007 he wrote the libretto for Cellar Door , an opera produced by Loris Gréaud in Paris. Malašauskas curated exhibitions for the David Roberts Art Foundation in London, the Museo Rufino Tamayo in Mexico City, the Center Georges Pompidou in Paris. The Clifford Irving Show is one of his projects.

In 2012 Malašauskas curated the Hypnotic Show (in Karlsaue ) for dOCUMENTA (13) in collaboration with Marcos Lutyens and Sissel Tolaas . He also worked for the 55th Biennale di Venezia and the 9th Bienal do Mercosul .
