Marcos Lutyens

Marcos Lutyens (* 1964 in London ) is a performance and installation artist .

life and work

From the start of his career, Lutyens was interested in interdisciplinary work. He uses hypnosis , robotics and sensory to create performances, sculptures and installations. Marcos Lutyens developed the hypnotic show for dOCUMENTA (13) together with Raimundas Malašauskas and Sissel Tolaas . In a pavilion in the Karlsaue , hypnosis sessions took place for 100 days, which Lutyens held in private with the documenta visitors.

Lutyens exhibits internationally, he was represented at the 55th and 57th Biennale di Venezia , the 33rd Biennale of São Paulo , Manifesta 11, dOCUMENTA (13) and numerous other exhibitions.
