Rainer Albrecht (born April 27, 1958 in Koethen ) is a German politician ( SPD ). He has been a member of the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania state parliament since 2011 .

Life

Albrecht attended the Polytechnic High School in Rostock and then completed an apprenticeship at the Housing Combine (WBK) Rostock with a qualification as a construction worker with a high school diploma . After his military service with the NVA in Schwerin, he worked as a skilled assembly worker and master in the Rostock WBK. He then worked as a site manager and executive assistant at ELBO Bau AG before becoming an assistant to the management in the Rostock architecture office. In the meantime, he completed an extra-occupational degree in business administration at the vocational academy in Lübeck and then worked as an independent real estate service provider and construction supervisor.

Albrecht joined the SPD in 1990 and was elected to the citizenship of Rostock in the same year , where he was parliamentary group leader of the SPD from 2007. In the state elections in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in 2011 , he was elected to the state parliament for the first time.
