Rainer Baule

Rainer Baule (* 1975 in Hildesheim ) is a German economist .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1994 at the Josephinum Hildesheim high school , he obtained a diploma in mathematics at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen in 2000 . From 2000 to 2007 he was a research assistant at the Institute for Business Money Management in Göttingen . After receiving his PhD in 2004 rer. pole. from 2007 to 2010 he was a research assistant at the professorship for finance at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen. After his habilitation in 2008 ( venia legendi for business administration) at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, he conducted research as a visiting researcher at the Auckland University of Technology in 2009 . In 2009 he was a guest lecturer at Jacobs University Bremen . From 2010 to 2012 he taught as a professor for business administration, especially controlling, at the University of Siegen . Since 2012 he has been professor of business administration, especially banking and finance, at the FernUniversität in Hagen .

His main research interests are derivative financial products, risk management and regulation, and capital market theory.
