Rainer Genilke (born March 1, 1968 in Finsterwalde ) is a German politician ( CDU ). From 2009 to 2019 he was a member of the Brandenburg State Parliament . Since 2019 he has been State Secretary in the Ministry for Infrastructure and State Planning of the State of Brandenburg .

Life and work

From 1974 to 1984 Genilke attended a polytechnic high school . He then successfully completed his training as a machine and system fitter for large household appliances at Dkk Scharfenstein . In 1996 he completed further training as a technician for heating, ventilation and air conditioning technology and has been working in this profession ever since. Since 2007 he has been studying technical business administration via distance learning.

He is married and has one child.

politics

Genilke has been a member of the CDU since 1999 and since 2003 also a member and chairman of the CDU parliamentary group in the Finsterwalde city council. In 2005 he was elected to the state executive committee of the CDU Brandenburg for the first time . From 2008 to 2019 he was also a member of the Elbe-Elster district council .

For the state election in Brandenburg on September 27, 2009 , Rainer Genilke ran for a seat in the Elbe-Elster I state electoral district and entered the state parliament via the state list . He was a full member of the Committee on Infrastructure and Agriculture and the Petitions Committee as well as the transport and infrastructure policy spokesman for his parliamentary group in the state parliament. On November 20, 2019, Genilke resigned from the state parliament to become State Secretary of the Ministry of Infrastructure and State Planning; for him moved Nicole Walter Mundt according to the state parliament.
