Rainer Hamann (born November 25, 1964 in Bremen ) is a German computer scientist , Bremen politician ( SPD ) and was a member of the Bremen citizenship .

Family, education and work

Hamann graduated from the Schoofmoor Gymnasium in Lilienthal in 1984 . Then he studied computer science . After completing his studies, he was initially employed in the IT user service at Comp_u_net in Hamburg, and then at Xerox AG as a technical account manager in the Document Management Systems division. He is currently a freelance software developer and lecturer for various educational institutions in the fields of IT and business.

Hamann is married and lives in Bremen - Schwachhausen .

politics

Hamann is a member of the SPD. In the 16th electoral term he was a member of the local advisory board of Schwachhausen . He is also chairman of the local SPD association in Schwachhausen Süd / Ost.

From 2007 to 2019 he was a member of the Bremen citizenship. There he was represented in the committee for civic participation, civic engagement and advisory boards (city), committee for science, media, data protection and freedom of information, petition committee (state and city) and in the works committees of the Bremen city library and Bremen adult education center as well as in the state deputation for the environment, Construction, Transport, Urban Development and Energy and the State and Urban Deputation for Health.
He was the spokesman for data protection, freedom of information and the media for the SPD parliamentary group.
