Rainer Leschke

Rainer Leschke (born July 4, 1956 ) is a German media scientist.

Life

Leschke studied German and philosophy at the Ruhr University in Bochum . In 1986 he received his doctorate with a thesis on hermeneutical reactions to poststructuralism ; for his work he was awarded the science prize by the University of Bochum. He teaches at the Universities of Bochum , Klagenfurt , Innsbruck and Siegen , currently as an adjunct professor (apl.) At the University of Siegen.

In 1998 Leschke completed his habilitation in media studies / modern German literary studies with a thesis on the 'reproduction cycles of literature'. His publications focus on questions relating to the theory of the humanities, in particular media theory , media morphology , media ethics and aesthetics .
