Rainer Loch

Rainer Loch (born December 14,  1961 ) is a German basketball coach and former player.

Life

As a player, Loch, whose strength was the three-point throw, rose from the 2nd basketball league to the basketball league in 1990 with the TVG Trier  .

In 1994, Loch worked briefly at TVG Trier as an interim trainer in the Bundesliga. In the 1999/2000 season he was coach of the Luxembourg club T71 Diddeleng.

In 2008, Loch became manager of the Trier basketball boarding school, and in summer 2009 he also took on the role of coach for the U16 youth team of TBB Trier in the JBBL and, from the beginning of December 2009, he also became the coach of Trier's U19 team in the NBBL . In his main occupation, Loch works as a teacher in the subjects of English, natural sciences and sports. In the summer of 2011, he retired from the sporting field of the Trier youngsters.
