Rainer Rosenzweig

Rainer Rosenzweig (* 1968 in Nuremberg ) is a German perceptual psychologist.

Career

Rosenzweig studied mathematics (diploma) at the FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg and received his doctorate in perceptual psychology at the University of Würzburg in 2003. Since 2003 he has been managing director of the Bavarian-Californian University Center BaCaTeC .

Since 2014 he has also been a lecturer in perceptual psychology at the Technical University of Nuremberg and since 2017 head of the Institute for Popular Scientific Discourse Kortizes. He is also a supporter of the March for Science .

He is a member of the Scientific Council of the Society for the Scientific Investigation of Parasciences (GWUP), President of the Humanist Press Service , curator in the Giordano Bruno Foundation , Chairman of the Coordination Council of Secular Organizations and Treasurer of the Ludwig Feuerbach Society . He is the initiator and co-founder of the hands-on museum Tower of the Senses and was its managing director from 2002 to 2016.
