Rainer Roth

Rainer Roth (born March 12, 1944 in Tachau ) is a German social scientist.

Until his retirement, Rainer Roth was a university professor with a focus on poverty and social welfare in the social work department of the Frankfurt a. M.

He was the editor of various standard works and guide books on the subject of unemployment and social welfare; the current incarnation (in the 29th edition) is now called Guideline Alg II / Social Welfare from AZ and is published by Harald Thomé and Frank Jäger.

He is the chairman of Klartext e. V. an association that advocates restructuring the state finances at the expense of banks, corporations and the rich, and long-standing employee of social welfare initiatives . He has also been involved in the scientific advisory board of the Coordination against BAYER Hazards (CBG) since December 2009 .
