Rainis and Aspazija Monument

The Rainis and Aspazija Monument ( Latvian Raiņa un Aspazijas piemineklis ) is a memorial to the Latvian poet couple Rainis and Aspazija in the Latvian city of Jūrmala .

It is located in the Majori district on the north side of Johmenstrasse ( Jomas iela ), which is centrally located in Majori , in the area of ​​the address Johmenstrasse 42.

The monument was created from bronze and granite by sculptors Zigrīda-Džoana Rapa and Juris Rapa and unveiled in 1990. As sculptures within a narrow arch, it shows Rainis seated and Aspazija standing next to him. Both lived temporarily in Majori.
