Rainis is an Indonesian district (Kecamatan) on the island of Karakelong , northeast of Sulawesi . The administrative center is Rainis, on the east coast .
geography
Rainis occupies a large part of the east of Karakelong Island. To the north is the Tampan'Amma district , to the west of the Beo district and south of the Pulutan district . In the east is the Moluccan Sea .
The administrative seat of Rainis is located on the south bank of Rainis Bay .

Rainis belongs to the administrative district (Kabupaten) of the Talaud Islands in the province of North Sulawesi (Sulawesi Utara). The district is divided into eleven administrative villages (Desa).

Residents
