Raja Amasheh (born August 9, 1982 in Amman , Jordan ) is a German professional boxer and former WKA kickboxer.

Life

She came to Berlin with her family at the age of three and a half months . In 2002 she started with kick and Thai boxing; In 2007 amateur boxing was added. After becoming an amateur, among other things, WKA world champion in kickboxing and multiple German runner-up in amateur boxing, she switched to the professional camp in November 2008. Since then, Raja has contested 24 flyweight duels (up to 50.8 kg) and is trained by Dominik Junge in Karlsruhe. Since October 27, 2012, Raja Amasheh is Intercontinental Champion according to the version of the World Boxing Federation . Raja won the title in St. Ingbert against the Serbian Fleis Djendji unanimously on points. On September 7, 2013, Raja won the vacant world championship in super flyweight of the WBF with a unanimous point victory over the Austrian Eva Voraberger in Saarbrücken.

On May 17th, 2014 Raja boxed against Susana Cruz Perez from Mexico for the WBF and World Boxing Council Silver World Championship belt in Saarbrücken. With the clear victory, Raja rose to number 5 in the flyweight division in the world. She has also held the super flyweight world championship title of the WBO since March 2018 and the Diamond Belt of the World Boxing Council since September 14, 2018 .

Raja Amasheh has the Bachelor - and the Master -Studies of Business Administration successfully completed.
