Kamianets district
The Kamenets District ( Belarusian раён Камянецкі ; Russian Каменецкий район ) is an administrative unit in the west of Brest Region in Belarus . The Rajon has an area of 1690 km², includes 234 villages and is divided into a Passavet and 14 Selsawets . The administrative center is the city of Kamenets (also Kamjanez ).
geography
The Kamjanets district is located in the west of the Breszkaja Woblasz. The neighboring racks in Breszkaja Woblasz are in the northeast Pruschany , in the east Kobrin , in the southeast Shabinka and in the south Brest .
The most important rivers are the Bug with its tributaries Lyasnaya and Pulva .
