Ralf Herbst (born January 1, 1986 in Kirchheim unter Teck ) is a German ice hockey player who has been under contract with the 1st EV Weiden in the ice hockey league since 2013 .

Career

Ralf Herbst began his career as an ice hockey player in the youth department of SC Bietigheim-Bissingen , for whose professional team he was active in the 2nd Bundesliga from 2003 to 2007 . He then played for a year for the 1st EV Weiden in the third-class league . The defender then moved to Rostock EC , with whom he played for a year in the major league and the regional league , the fourth German division. He started the 2010/11 season with the Rostock EC again in the major league before returning to his home club SC Bietigheim-Bissingen in the 2nd Bundesliga in January 2011.
