Ralph Anspach

Ralph Anspach (* 1926 ) is a professor emeritus of economics at San Francisco State University and inventor of the anti-Monopoly game. Since he could not find a publisher, he published the game himself in 1973.

Anti-monopoly

Anspach published his Anti Monopoly in 1973 and got into some trouble with this game idea and his publications on Monopoly , including a ten-year dispute with Parker Brothers , who own the rights to Monopoly, which according to a source only came before the US Supreme Court ended. In 1977 he published a sequel to the game with Anti Monopoly II , and in 1987 Anti-Monopoly III: Washington-Moscow appeared .
