Ralph Corbie
Ralph Corbie SJ (born March 25, 1598 in Maynooth , Ireland , † September 7, 1644 in Tyburn ), also Ralph Corbington or Ralph Corby , was an Irish Jesuit .
Corbie entered the Jesuit Order in 1631 . In 1632 he volunteered in the English mission, in which he worked twelve years before he was imprisoned in Newgate Prison with John Duckett . He died a martyr on September 7, 1644 at the place of execution at Tyburn . In 1929 he was beatified .
