Ralph Herberholz

Ralph Herberholz (born March 14, 1938 in Arenberg ; † November 15, 2015 ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Life

Herberholz graduated from high school in 1958 and then studied at the universities in Bonn , Leeds Grenoble . In 1964 he passed the first state examination. After completing his legal clerkship and passing the second state examination, he entered the school service as a study assessor in 1966. He worked as a teacher in Aachen until 1972 and then switched to a school in Cochem , where he worked as a teacher until 1980, most recently as director of studies.

Herberholz was a member of the GEW . He joined the SPD in 1972 and has been chairman of the SPD district association Cochem-Zell since 1978. The German Bundestag belonged to the 9th electoral term from 1980 to 1983, elected via the state list of the SPD Rhineland-Palatinate . Towards the end of the 11th electoral term, on September 1, 1990, he moved up again to parliament and was only a brief member of it.
