Ralph Curry Lenney (born January 11, 1895 in South Shields , † November 10, 1971 in Cleadon ) was an English football player .
Career
Lenney moved in February 1922 from the Hebburn Colliery Club to the English first division side West Bromwich Albion . There he played regularly for the club's reserve team for the next 16 months, but he did not get to work for the first team. In the summer break of 1923 he moved to the Third Division North for the Welsh club AFC Wrexham and belonged to the start of the season as a left winger in the starting lineup, before losing his place to Jesse Williams in October 1923 . In January 1924, Lenney came as a substitute for Billy Jackson as a center forward to a use before he left the club at the end of the season and moved to the North-Eastern League to Carlisle United .
