Ralph Steiner
Ralph Steiner (born February 8, 1899 in Cleveland (Ohio) , USA , † July 13, 1986 ) was an American photographer and documentary filmmaker .
Steiner's documentaries from the 1930s are now considered classics, including The Plow that Broke the Plains and The City (the latter in collaboration with Willard Van Dyke ).
After his death he was considered one of the most important American modern photographers.
