Ramadan Shallah
Ramadan Abdullah Mohammad Shallah ( Arabic رمضان عبد الله شلح, DMG Ramaḍān ʿAbd Allāh Šallaḥ ; * January 1, 1958 in Shudscha'iyya, Gaza City ; † June 6, 2020 ) was a Palestinian economist and is considered one of the founders of the " Islamic Jihad " (PIJ).
Life
Ramadan Shallah studied economics ("Banking and Economics") at the University of Durham in England, where he received his Ph.D. received his doctorate. After the murder of Fathi Schakaki in Malta in 1995 , Ramadan Shallah became general secretary of the “ Islamic Jihad ” (PIJ).
In October 2003, Israel published a map on the " Damascus Terrorism Network " to prove that Syria indirectly supported the attacks against Israel. “The homes of Hamas members Chaled Meschal and Musa Abu Marsuk are shown on this map . The map also shows the homes of jihad leader Ramadan Shallah and Ahmad Jibril , the leader of the ' Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine - General Command '. "
On February 24, 2006, Shallah and PIJ member Abd Al-Aziz Awda were put on the FBI's list of most wanted terrorists (" FBI Most Wanted Terrorists ").
