Ramadan Abdullah Mohammad Shallah ( Arabic رمضان عبد الله شلح, DMG Ramaḍān ʿAbd Allāh Šallaḥ ; * January 1, 1958 in Shudscha'iyya, Gaza City ; † June 6, 2020 ) was a Palestinian economist and is considered one of the founders of the " Islamic Jihad " (PIJ).

Life

Ramadan Shallah studied economics ("Banking and Economics") at the University of Durham in England, where he received his Ph.D. received his doctorate. After the murder of Fathi Schakaki in Malta in 1995 , Ramadan Shallah became general secretary of the “ Islamic Jihad ” (PIJ).
