The Ramesch or Romitsch is a 2119 m above sea level. A. high, narrow, double-peaked mountain between the Frauen- and Brunnsteinerkar, at the foot of the Warscheneck in Upper Austria . The west summit is a few meters lower than the east summit. Seen from the Frauenscharte, its shape is reminiscent of a Dolomite tower. At the base of the north wall is the Ramesch Bone Cave .
Surname
The name used to be interpreted in Slavic (as "forest bare"), but is derived from the Latin word "eremus" and means "the one standing alone".

There are no marked paths on the Ramesch. However, several variants are given in the literature. The most popular include:
- East ridge (II)
- West ridge (I)
- As well as several climbing routes (III to V +) in the northeast face
