Raminta Popovienė
Raminta Popovienė (born May 5, 1970 in Zarasai ) is a Lithuanian social democratic politician .
Life
After graduating from Marytė Melnikaitė Middle School in 1988, Popovienė graduated from 1988 to 1994 with a diploma in music teacher and choral conductor and in 1995 with a master’s degree in music education at the Klaipėda Faculty of Lietuvos muzikos akademija (LMA). From 1994 she worked at the LMA in Klaipėda, from 1998 in Visaginas , from 2000 in Kaunas . In 2011 she was elected to the Council of Kaunas Rajong Community. She has been a member of the Seimas since 2012 .
She is a member of the Lietuvos socialdemokratų partija .
