Ramona Strugariu

Ramona Strugariu (born August 6, 1979 in Birlad ) is a Romanian politician ( PLUS ). She has been a member of the European Parliament in the Renew Europe Group since 2019 .

Education and professional career

Ramona Strugariu studied at the Law Faculty of the University of Iași . From 2008 to 2012 she was a project manager in the Romanian Ministry of Justice. From 2015 to 2019 she was the accredited assistant and office manager of Monica Macovei ( EPP Group ) in the European Parliament .

In the 2019 European elections , she ran for the Partidul Libertății, Unității și Solidarității, founded by the former Romanian Prime Minister Dacian Cioloș , and won a mandate. After being sworn in, she joined the Renew Europe group . She is a member of the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs .
