Ramos Arizpe is a city in the Mexican state of Coahuila . Ramos Arizpe has about 66,000 inhabitants and is the administrative center of the municipality of the same name Ramos Arizpe . The city is seven miles from Saltillo , the state capital, and its residents make a living primarily from the automotive and service sectors.
history
Ramos Arizpe was founded in 1577 as Valle de las Labores , renamed in 1606 in Valle de San Nicolás de la Capellanía and finally named after Miguel Ramos Arizpe (1775-1843). Ramos Arizpe was promoted to town in 1980.
