Ramot HaShavim

Ramot HaShavim ( Hebrew רָמוֹת הַשָּׁבִים, Heights of the Returners ) is a Jewish village in the central Israeli district . It was founded in 1933 by Jewish immigrants from Germany. Located between Hod Hasharon and Ra'anana , it occupies an area of ​​about 230  hectares and is administratively subordinate to the Drom Hasharon . In 2007 Ramot HaShavim had 1,300 inhabitants, this number had risen to 1,705 in December 2017.

Ramot HaShavim was created in 1933 as a moshav as part of the fifth aliyah . In 1951 it became a local association , but came under the jurisdiction of the regional association in the course of the administrative reform of 2003 .
