The Rampart Terrace is a relatively level, icy, 8 km long and 2250 m high plateau in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Royal Society Range it is located on the south-central part of the Rampart Ridge . The steeply sloping southern flank rises between 200 and 300 m high from the ice masses of the Rutgers glacier .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the plateau in 1994 based on the descriptive naming of the neighboring mountain ridge of the same name.
