Ramselegut is a residential area in the Rotwasser district of the Hinterzarten community not far from Feldberg-Bärental below the Ramselehöhe (1113 m) and the Steiertenkopf (1076 m) in the Black Forest and consists of the Ramselehof .

As Ramsele in the Black Forest is wing broom referred, which according to Ekkehard Liehl blooms on the Ramselehöhe "most lavishly" and unlike its larger relative, the in Dreisamtal common broom ( Ramse ), height can survive between 900 and 1200 meters.

The Ramselegut was created when Joseph Imberi sold his Imberihof in 1778 to Joseph and Ulrich Riesterer from Kirchhofen. He "built a house for himself for which he reserved a property, and is now called the Ramselebauer". His youngest son, Lorenz Imberi (* 1778), inherited the estate due to the minority . He sold it to Johann Hercher from Oberried in 1821. According to the law of October 5, 1820, Hercher agreed, like the remaining third parties of the town, in August 1829 for 22 guilders and 28 kreuzers in two annual installments, the one-third replacement from the Grand Duchy of Baden .

Hercher's descendants still live on the estate, the size of which was given in 1937 as 6.84 hectares.
