The Rancho Point ( spanish Punta Rancho , gabled roof top ' ) is a distinctive, 170 m high and rocky headland that the eastern foothills of Deception Iceland in the archipelago of South Shetland Islands highlighted.
The commander of the Argentine ship Granville gave the headland its descriptive name in 1947. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names translated this designation into English in 1965.
