Randy Michaels Caballero (* 27. September 1990 in Indio , California , USA ) is a Nicaraguan boxer and reigning, undefeated champion of the Association IBF in bantamweight .

Amateur career

Caballero competed as an amateur in the flyweight division and was able to win a bronze medal in the Turkish capital Istanbul in 2006 at the Cadet World Championships . In 2008 he won the United States national amateur boxing championships with a final victory over Raul Lopez .

His record was 167 wins out of 10 losses.

Professional career

In March 2010 he was able to prevail against Gonzalo Nicolas with a classic knockout in round 1 and thus win his debut. In the same year another five wins followed, including three by knockout. In 2011 he won the WBC Youth title and defended it. In the following year he won a 10-round fight against the Puerto Rican Miguel Robles by unanimous decision and secured the WBO-NABO title.

On October 25, 2014 Caballero met Stuart Hall - it was about the vacant IBF world title. Caballero decided this battle unanimously on points and thus conquered the world championship belt.
