The Rangrik Rank is a mountain in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh .
The 6553 m high Rangrik Rang, located in the West Himalayas , is the highest mountain in the south of the Kinnaur district . The mountain is north of the upper Sangla valley . The Eastern and Western Racho Khad Glaciers have their nutrient areas on the northeast and northwest flanks of the Rangrik Rang and feed the Tirang, which runs north .
Rangrik rank was first climbed in June 1994 over the northeast ridge by an Indo-British expedition (consisting of Chris Bonington , a Muslim mountain guide, Jim Fotheringham , Graham Little , Jim Lowther , Divyesh Muni, Paul Nunn and Pasang Bodh).
