The Ranza is a small river in the north of the Scottish island of Arran . It flows north from the small lake Loch na Davie at a height of about 360 m . On its 5.5 km long run it first flows through Gleann Easan Biorach , a side valley of Glen Ranza and then Glen Ranza itself. Passing the whiskey distillery Arran , the Ranza flows into Loch Ranza , a bay of Kilbrannan Sound, at Lochranza .
