Raoul Hirtzler
Raoul Hirtzler (born July 3, 1923 in Karlovac ; † February 2002 ) was a Yugoslavian medic.
He studied medicine at the University of Zagreb and from 1946 was a lecturer at the Institute for General Pathology and Pathological Anatomy there. After working in hospitals and doing research in London, he completed his habilitation in 1956 at the University of Zagreb, where he became an associate professor in 1963 and a full professor in 1970. Oncology was one of his main research areas .
