Raoul Scheidhauer

Raoul Scheidhauer (born December 15, 1977 ) is a German basketball coach .

career

Scheidhauer was assistant coach of the women's second division ChemCats Chemnitz in the 2003/04 season . In 2004 he took over the post of head coach, in 2005/06 he led the Saxons to promotion to the Bundesliga with a perfect season record of 28 wins from 28 games . In 2009 the Saxons became vice-cup winners under his leadership, but missed relegation in the Bundesliga and relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga. In the 2010/11 season he led Chemnitz to a direct return to the Bundesliga. In November 2011 Scheidhauer was released from the ChemCats.

In summer 2011 he was head coach of Germany's female U20 national team at the European Championships. In the summer of 2012 he was assistant coach of the women's national team.

Scheidhauer, who was a member of the teaching and coaching committee of the Basketball Association of Saxony, was coach of the male U19s of BV Chemnitz 99 in the youth basketball league in the 2012/13 season . After a year he gave up the coaching position.
