Rapelay is a Japanese 3D eroge game by the company Illusion from 2006, which has received worldwide criticism for its action.
action
The protagonist Masaya Kimura is a chikan , a man who sexually harasses other people. However, when he molested Aoi Kiryū , he was arrested. But since he is the son of an important politician , he will be released the next day. He seeks revenge and tries to take revenge on her family. To do this, he persecutes Manaka, Yuuko and Aoi and harasses them in various public places such as B. at the train station or in a public toilet.
His first victim is her youngest sister, Manaka. Afterwards, her mother Yuuko and finally Aoi are also raped by him.
The game has two possible endings, with the protagonist dying in both cases. Either one of his victims becomes pregnant and then pushes him in front of a train, or he is stabbed to death by Aoi while she is raped.

In the game, Natsumi Yanase takes on the dubbing of Manaka Kiryū . Furthermore, Mao Enokizu took over the role of Aoi Kiryū . Masaya Kimura and the other characters remain silent.
criticism
The American websites Something Awful and Honest Gamers rated this game very negatively.
The game was also heavily criticized by UK MP Keith Vaz .
On Amazon was RapeLay also offered, so these game titles fell even further into the field of the public. A little later, however, it was removed from the range again.
In Japan, the organization Equality Now angrily turned to Prime Minister Taro Aso and those responsible for Illusion, reminding them of the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women .
The game was reported in numerous articles, also in German-speaking countries.
