The Rifugio Prarayer is a refuge in the Aosta Valley in the Valais Alps . It is located at an altitude of 2005  m slm within the municipality of Bionaz on the site of the Alm Prarayer. The hut is privately managed from the beginning of March to the beginning of November and offers sleeping places for 50 mountaineers during this time.

The path to the hut starts at the parking lot at the Place Moulin reservoir . From there the flat path leads over an unpaved road to the refuge. After a few meters, the path branches off to the left to the Rifugio Nacamuli al Col Collon . The path runs along the lake for almost its entire length. Only during the last 15 minutes do you climb up to the refuge on meadow terrain.

For the way from the parking lot, which does not show any technical difficulties, 1 hour is estimated.

Tour possibilities

From the refuge you can reach the Sorgente del Buthier (2,374 m, the source of the Buthier ), the Lago di Livournera (2,374 m) as well as the Col Livournera (2,858 m) and the alpine pastures Alpeggio Brulé (2,355 m), Alpeggio within 2 - 3 hours Reach Tsa de Tsan and Alpeggio Chardonney (2,364 m).
