Raphaël Enthoven (born November 9, 1975 in Paris ) is a French philosopher and television presenter .

Life

Enthoven was born in Paris in 1975. He is the son of the French intellectual and publicist Jean-Paul Enthoven , who is a representative of the “ nouvelle philosophy ”.

Raphaël Enthoven taught temporarily at the Institut d'études politiques de Paris and at the École polytechnique in Paris. He is editorial advisor to the monthly Philosophie Magazine , moderates the program Les nouveaux chemins de la connaissance on the cultural radio station France Culture and is the author of numerous publications, including La philosophie - Un jeu d'enfant , Kant, la tête dans les nuages and Sartre, la liberté dans tous ses états .

Since October 2008 he is the producer and presenter of the Arte magazine philosophy . Every Sunday at 12.30 p.m. on ARTE , Enthoven and another scientist await the audience for a short question time. "The program questions terms such as power, responsibility, mixing, body or melancholy using familiar (partly famous, partly taken from the current context) images."

Enthoven married the writer Justine Lévy in 1996 . After his marriage failed, he was in a relationship with Carla Bruni and has a son with her. He has another son, the actress Chloé Lambert . He has four children.
