Hana Blažíková
Hana Blažíková (born December 2, 1980 in Prague , Czechoslovakia ) is a Czech soprano and harpist . She is a baroque interpreter , but medieval and renaissance music are also among her specialties.
Life
Hana Blažíková graduated from Charles University in Prague with a degree in musicology and philosophy . In 2002 she graduated from the Prague Conservatory in the class of Jiří Kotouč. Her vocal development was supported by master classes with Poppy Holden, Peter Kooij , Monika Mauch and Howard Crook. In addition to her work as a singer , Blažíková has mastered playing the Gothic harp . Among other things, she gives concerts with medieval vocal music and accompanies herself. After initial appearances in the Czech Republic, the soprano has also appeared on the international stage and has participated in various CD recordings. In addition to the classical area, she plays bass guitar in the rock band Stillknox .
