A Quarrel Arose ( BWV 19) is a cantata by Johann Sebastian Bach from 1726 .
The text of the cantata goes back to a poem by Christian Friedrich Henrici , which was published in his collection of edifying thoughts in Leipzig in 1725. It is possible that the text was edited by Bach himself.
Occupation and structure
There are three soloists ( soprano , tenor , bass ) and four-part mixed choir as well as the instruments oboe I and II, oboe d'amore I and II, oboe da caccia , tromba I, II, III, timpani , violin I and II, viola and continuo .
