Raphael Scharf-Katz
(Refael ben Jaakow Hakohen) Raphael Scharf-Katz (born January 30, 1917 in Erfurt ; † October 10, 1994 ) was chairman of the Jewish state community of Thuringia.
Career
Scharf-Katz survived the concentration camp. His family was murdered in July 1942.
He was an active member of the Jewish community in Erfurt and from 1985 until his death its chairman and chairman of the Jewish state community of Thuringia .
